Joining Columbia County 4-H

How do I join 4-H?

E-mail us , give us a call or come by the office. You can enroll in 4-H any time of the year. It is as easy as filling out an enrollment form. That's it!!!

4-H is a fun, educational program for young people, ages 5 - 18 (must currently be in kindergarten). 4-H has something for everyone--and anyone can join. No membership fees are required although we do charge $1.00 a year ($2.00 if you have an animal project) for insurance. An, some project materials and activities may have a cost.

Joining a 4-H club is a great way to have fun, learn new things and meeting new and interesting people. Clubs meet in schools, community centers, churches, and even in 4-H volunteer leaders homes.

What's great about 4-H are the many ways to get involved and participate. The best way to determine what's right for you is to contact the 4-H office. With the help of the 4-H Agent and 4-H Program Assistant, you will discover new and exciting programs and activities.
